The Daily 5 Series

Over the next week, I will be describing about Daily 5 in my classroom and what each choice looks like.

For this first post, I want to give you a quick glimpse around my classroom during our Daily 5 time. If you look closely, you can see kids practicing:

1. Read to Self
2. Read with Someone
3. Word Work
4. Listening to Reading (iPods & Computers)

Teacher Time is my 5th choice, but I was filming so you won't see me with groups in this first one.

PS-- I am changing to tables soon and I realized when watching this video that kids truly are working all over the room, it wasn't just my imagination ;) Consider these my "before" pictures!
