Whole Brain Teaching Classroom Signs

My newest item to my TpT Store are signs for your Whole Brain Teaching Classroom.

I am super-excited about these because I pretty much love everything about Whole Brain Teaching and I am currently obsessed with the chevron print :)

I had a similar set of signs hanging in my classroom this year and it was a nice reminder of the sayings that we used and helped my visual learners a lot. WBT incorporates a lot of kinesthetic and auditory learning, but it's important to remember the visual kiddos as well!

This HUGE pdf file has the WBT lingo on four cute signs in loads of colors. The signs say:
  • Class? Yes!
  • Hands & Eyes
  • Teach! Okay!
  • Yes! No Way!!
  • Mirror
  • Switch
  • A blank page for your own WBT favorites :)
They come with the chevron background in:
  • teal (my fav!)
  • orange
  • blue
  • gray
  • red
  • purple
  • green
and the last set of signs has no background in case you would rather print them on color paper... up to you!

Enjoy and I hope these will inspire you to not only try WBT in your class, but also get excited about decorating for next year (I am so excited and this year isn't even done yet!).

Want a set of these signs for free? Leave a comment telling me how you use or plan to use WBT in your class and I will choose a winner on Wednesday!

**UPDATE: Congrats to Sandra from Sweet Times in First! Check your email because you won :)

  1. I LOVE using WBT in my classroom!
I pretty much did it all this school year: class yes, teach ok, the scoreboard, brain toys, class rules, hands and eyes, it's cool, the 5 step lesson plan, and a TON TON TON of gestures!! :)
My kids love it and it is soooo easy with ELLs in my SEI classroom!
I plan on doing it all and MORE {lessons} this following year! I just love it!

  2. Stephanie,

I am moving from a gifted learners classroom to 3rd grade next year. You introduced me to WBT and I have been researching it for the last couple of weeks. I am excited to try something new like WBT next year AND I get to decorate my room exactly how I want too, which is pretty exciting.

LOVE your TPT store. Thanks for all the great stuff!

I have been using WBT just for a few weeks so far, but it has gone over SO WELL in my first grade classroom! We use the rules, scoreboard, class-yes,hands and eyes, teach-okay (with switch!), mirrors, etc.

We just started summer break, but I'm already anxious and ready to start a full-on WBT classroom next year! I'm obsessed, and it's already catching on like wildfire in my grade level.

Love to find fellow Wibbeteers!! :) Thanks for the amazing blog!

  7. I found wbt through you! Thank you for that, btw. I have been incorporating lots of gestures into my teaching these last few weeks. I can't wait to learn more and have a whole new way to invigorate teaching and learning in my classroom next year.

  12. This looks like it will work well with the Making Thinking Visual techniques we are implementing this year.
