Happy Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

THANK YOU for all of your great comments on my Oz-Themed Character Study Posters! I loved each and every one of them :) A big congrats to's Winning Commenter Tracey, from Third Grade All Stars, who won my Oz-Themed "Over the Rainbow" Character Study packet! Check your inbox :)

I hope you are enjoying your feast with family and friends- we are having a wonderfully laid back dinner and I can't wait- I have been looking forward to this meal for weeks :)

This pretty much sums it up, I think.....

I wanted to take this time to let you know how thankful I am for all of you-- you have helped me become a better, more energized, and positive teacher and also have gone out of your way to leave me the nicest feedback, comments, ideas, and laughs-- you fill my bucket every day and I want you to know that I am truly grateful and humbled!

Blogging and TpT have been such a blessing to me this past year. Both have provided me with a sense of community and a huge faculty of some of the greatest (ok, THE greatest!) teachers in the world!!! I often think about how incredible a school would be with all of you as my teammates. We'd hang out in the teacher's lounge and joke about clip art and Pinterest and funny e-cards.... aaaah, how lovely!

Although that dream is awesome, I suppose I am most thankful that you all are scattered across the US and the world because your impact on kids is so far-reaching, and that's pretty awesome :)

It's easy to be dragged down by the negative and what doesn't work in our profession. What I have loved the most is how positive and uplifting all of you are-- through your blogs, comments, feedback, Facebook posts, and more! All of that positive energy has guided me through some pretty rough spots this year and has reminded me of all of the amazing parts to our job-- the kids, the collaboration, the endless creative possibilities and the fun of teaching!!

So, thank you! Each and every one of you! I owe you a huge debt of gratitude and just know that, right before I chow down and eat my weight in food, I will be thinking of and thanking you from the bottom of my heart!

Have a wonderful and relaxing holiday, my friends!!
